Nothing Lasts Forever

I'm sitting here really thinking hard about you,
Remembering the good & what made me blue.
Thinking of all we been through,
How many times you've referred to me as your boo.
Nothing lasts forever.

Laughing at those good times,
Even at my secret spies.
How you swore you would always be by my side,
But soon as ever I came to realize,
That nothing lasts forever.

I used to picture us under the moon,
Cuddled up and snuggling at noon.
I used to think the world of you,
Until you made me extremely blue.
Nothing lasts forever.

We stopped having sunny skies,
I stopped living on cloud 9,
You started worrying about beauty & size,
Even though you were perfect in my eyes,
Nothing lasts forever....
