no weapons form against me shall prosper

Location

last night was an intimate conversation

where my lady said something to me

that resonated deeply in my heart where tears dripped down from both sides of my face

when we were talking about recent life experiences that was encounter

and the importance of lesson that needed to be learned and engraved

she said no weapons form against me shall prosper

it hit me hard because

my sole purpose is to inspire people in believing that dreams will always come true in which no one will hand it to you, it has to be earn

when you accomplish such feat

you will deal with jealousy

those who can't do what i can do

individuals who's heart is black like smoke that hovers fog to blind one's ambition with lies

along with achieving comes with responsibility

the understanding of mastering what i do best, and humbling myself anytime people insert praise for my work

i embrace moments that is breathtaking every time i step on any stage, or platform

with or without a mic

this is god's way to mentally prepare myself in projecting my voice to aspire people

echo my messages so that it injects hope to a person's soul

along with that comes the hate of people

who have a hard time discerning themselves with the acceptance of me because i'm different, i'm not like everyone else

i don't need to like everybody else because i'm my own man, and through my shortcomings, i became the man i am today

who stands up on his own two feet with the only weapon needed in combat against any adversary

my mind is my deadly weapon that kills hatred with love

my provoking thoughts of wisdom that conquers obliviousness

my knowledge of power that is faster than a speeding bullet ready to cock and squeeze seconds from trigger being released by hands of destruction

and even if you dispose of me

there will someone waiting to dispose of you

i know i made my share of mistakes, but ever mistake my kindness as a weakness

in case you don't know me

the great jay-z once said "allow me to reintroduce myself"

i am

the proud taino

black puerto rican

repping from the bronx

alive and well

no if and or maybes

you way of your class

i answer to nobody

but the one to gave me life by the name of God

who exemplifies the only soverign authority that needs no permission
