New York

Location

They say home is where the heart is
My heart has always been with me

Until that day
Until that moment

That urban amazon jungle
With passion as deep as the sea
Solo yet never alone
Never feeling as if I was already home

Birds of prey in alleyways
Lyrical dreams in subways

Clouds hang and gentle rains fall
The jungle cries for my soul
She calls in wait
She knows I hunger for more

Time passes
Time causes tragic reactions
He who controls time
He who bends space

I beg to become one
With this amazing jungle
Allow me to visit the clustered sea
Allow me to live among the tainted reef

Finding solace
With those who carry no feeling
No empathy
Just life
