This Jan’ry first will exit during cheer;
Sev’ral hot souls may lead with a new kiss.
I sway, they drink champagne but mostly beer,
Proposing coming year to be more bliss.
They sealed the resolutions on a stone,
For purifying suit of happiness;
If only people leave their office throne,
A lot could leave behind the dire sadness.
Yet, coming day resolutions will end;
A plea of gaining asset swung frailty:
Today intentions aren't set goals, but trends.
So, people are stuck in reality.
A lot of couples singing “auld lang syne”,
As lifetime resolutions fall behind.
