New Wardrobe

The doors closed and hidden

Seeing only through the slats

Peering through the discrimination

The doors closed and hidden

Yearning to fling open

Fearing opinions, judgement

The doors closed and hidden

Laughing at the jokes

Pretending to be not

L e a p i n g across the abyss — into the arms of acceptance

Open and visible

Seeing the possibilities

Glowing and beaming with pride.
