Nevermore Sitting still

Paper dolls delicately scatter across the plains.

Their grace and poise burdened for my name.

Either they sneered or talked with me seeing,

Because they did a pretty lousy job for me not to glance away.

The love they gave was something yearned from many.

But one day I forgot the knife underneath the carpet,

Hidden my insercurities laid behind a shade of grey.

They knew not of what I wanted

For the only desire shall be understood by one.

I laced their dresses with hatred when the day

I got them began to shower in my dreams.

Death has so much meaning to those that do not know.

However, there is only one way that death will go.

A breath of hope or a tear of the last.

I sacrificed so much even it pained to feel

A lost sense of doubt bearing at my door of my sanity.

My young ones will not survive,

Curiosity strengthens the gamble with death.

Their screams soothen those who have remained before them.

Others too listen to the sound of a paper cuttinng in half.
