Necrosis

Salvaging dregs of past dues

Leaves me sullen in nightshade hues

Wrongly scathed and moreso accused

I dug up the backdrop blues

While laying down tripwire and land mines

To mark the way back

Call it ignorance of modern day love

Quite the contrary, I have it all

The very vibrations of soul I seek

Lying past the dreaded heap of malformed days

These were my twisted ways

Attempting the path through tailwinds

I found nothing peters out faster than sirens

Falsely shoved into the fray so saturnine

Of that morose color that I would soon call mine

This poem is about:
Me
