inhales my fragrant magenta guise
contemplating if i'm good to eat
i cannot move, i cannot sleep,
 

i exist because of pollinating bees
i'm only a flower, that's all i can be
bringing beauty into this world
but you can devour me if you will
 

so, though my aroma attracts you
and you may be hungry for food
do you risk the chance of indigestion,
or that i may be poison to you?
 

can you smell the danger within?
i suggest you just look and admire
don't be an impulsive fool
be careful of what you desire.
