My Work

Mon, 02/24/2014 - 14:37 -- mlevy23

I want to work

Where the wind takes me

I want to work

Where my efforts can help others

I want to work

Where I can be enriched by new cultures

Meet new people

Lern new languages

I want to work

For the UN

State Department

Washington Center

Women for Women International

I don’t want to work

For high salaries

In whitewashed corporate offices

In the city I’ve lived in for decades

I guess

I don’t want to work at all

I want to travel

And experience

And give back

And I will live in small smelly slums

In the middle of nowhere, India

If it means that my work

Doesn’t feel like work at all.
