My Sister and I
We are two bodies that sails the body of the sea
In search of our lost souls driven by the riches
We heard of this land by the many in our genration
No one haven't really seen her, only a figment of a long lost dream
Funny what Irony seems to be
Our rightenous has driven us thus far, you can't dare to turn around now
We had already laid our eyes on her
The waves crashed againist us, as it sung us a soft melody
Forcefully throwning us to where next I see water all around me
I gasped as my body washed along the shore
My sister and I looked at each other, reassuring ourselves that it was her
We danced all around admiring her beauty
Confirming all of the oral stories
We had smiles from the time when the sun came up, and the moon lied down
Eventually those smiles reformed into frowns
No diamond or pearl no longer seemed to make us happy
We've been here for five years, I consistely try to tell myself that I am sane
I made a story of my sister and I of her travling here right beside me
I woke by a tropical storm to only see the figments of my imagnation all surrounding me
