My love for poetry is like an over flowing river
It fills and fills and never decreases
I write it in any type of mood
and use it to channel my feelings
Pouring my heart and soul into every line
until I have gotten the message across.
Whatever the topic I always love a challenge.
Being who I am I never back down.
I make the poem the best I can
and when I am done
I feel this overwhelming joy.
One down
Many to go.
I will never stop what I love
and when I am old and grey
I will look back upon these poems
and remember
all the emotions that were built up inside me
One after the other
memories being written
Never being forgotten
Just waiting for the moments
to be read
and loved by me.
