My Picket Fence

Location

Clean, white, and comfy;
the safest place I can be.
I stay in my white picket fence.
O, Lord, I do plea,
help me destroy the trap
that I once called safe.
Let me live a life full of
adventures, for Your sake.

Ready, set, jump;
wait, never mind.
For what I decided
was to stay far behind.
Living my life I feared,
but the Spirit has set me free.
For now I stand
face to face
in the presence of THE KING.

The journey I made,
I decided to cross,
the fence, the line, the border;
all because of Thee.

The adventure I lived,
I did for You, You through me.
O, that picket fence, I sure did flee.
