If I could be in charge for a day, the world would be better that way,

People would smile, and no one would be hurt, it would be the perfect Earth,

When passing by, people would say hello, they would know they mattered and not be alone,

School would be one hundred percent free and there would be no bullying,

The sky would shine a glorious blue, no factories allowed to pollute,

The oils would not touch parts of the ocean, no one to start a commotion,

Animals in captivity would be set free, and there would be zero arguing,

As I sit here and think of the day, I know in my heart that the world can change,

No longer would man be lost on the street, he would have a home and a place to eat,

No child would be without a mother, and everyone would be there for each other,

If we take care of the world for a day, I sure think it would be better that way.
