Undeserved suffering in under-served villages-

With parched mouths and swollen bellies,

In the mines of Peru or the slums of New Delhi

Under the guidance that knowledge is power,

I will teach health in the hopes to empower

Leaders in developing communities

To make steps towards self-sufficiency.

With a MS in Global Health from Harvard,

I will garner the skills and network to charter

Global health policies regarding nutrition

That would impact the well-being of mothers and children.

To tear mal-nutrition and world hunger at the seams,

That would be my magnificent dream.
