"My love does not love me like I love him"

My love does not love me like I love him.

He claims I think we are what we are not.

I just don't understand his frustration,

For I'd like to believe I have his heart.

My love, he thinks me insane, unstable.

My darling says he knows not what to do.

I say, "Hush, love, until you are able

To accept what Venus has deemed as true."

Oh, I will never stop loving my love.

I will follow him 'til moon becomes sun,

Until this fantasy I'm dreaming of

Becomes reality. And when I'm done,

As sure as the heavens are above me.

I am going to make my love love me.
