My Little Piece Of Awesome

The pain and sorrow try to engulf my spirit,

But I must take stand to not hear it.

I go back to the good times.

I close my eyes and listen to the chimes.

The chimes that hang lifelessly on the patio,

Depending on the wind to help it show;

Show that the chimes are more than you see.

The wind helps the chimes prove not everything is what it is meant to be.

I am the chimes, needing a push

My friends are the wind, as strong as a bush.

My little piece of Awesome

Comes as quiet as a Possum.
