My Friends Call Me Mom

My friends call me mom.

Jokingly, not in bad content.

I keep my friends out of trouble:

"go to work instead of going to that party",

"Have you done your homework yet?"

To me there's no better feeling than giving compliments to a stranger

in the hallway or in the lunch line and seeing their face light up.

I support and encourage my friends and peers

with absolutely

anything.

From them coming out with being homosexual to

giving them a pep talk before a big test.

 I listen to their:

 complaints,

stories,

and problems.

I offer the best advice that I can give them.

I never let my friends go through anything alone

especially

when I know there is something I can do to help.

Most people would be bothered by such a nickname

I embrace it.

I am confident in the person that I am

In my future

I want to see myself being someone that people can:

 rely on

and depend on.

 Making someone’s day

and being open whenever needed

 is very satisfying.

Knowing that I have the ability to put a smile on someone's face.
