My Dearest Silence

My dearest Silence.
How are you these days?
I, myself, have been better.
You may be wondering, Silence, why I’ve written this.
I do not know for sure, but I’ve been told it might help
You know me, confrontation is liberation.

My dearest Silence,
My days are filled with the quiet screams
You know all about quiet don’t you, Silence?
I run that day through my head
The words you never said are the words I hear
Your silent screams will be the death of me.

My dearest Silence,
I must thank you in a way.
You’ve somehow made my days more understandable.
We weren’t meant to talk long Silence, were we?
Even though those chats I now long for.

My dearest Silence,
I do miss you so
But alas you don’t miss me.
I can try my hardest, but ignoring your presence,
Well, let’s just say it’ll never be easy.

My dearest Silence,
I have questions you see.
I tried to not speak them, but they keep tumbling out of me.
I want to know.
Do you know the answers I seek?
My dearest Silence it was once just you and me.

My dearest Silence,
Please will you please answer me?
Or am I cursed to hear your silent screams forevermore?
Please Silence
Please.
