My Country

Been through several nations but nothing compares to mine

Carved, designed and shaped in such fashion, so divine

resembles the beauty of a women, the original women, the mother of all mothers

The direct descendent of the women that walked across this mass land beyond our borders

The one that set the stone for all, for the first explorers

eat the local food with delight, give an insight on life, while under the sun that shines so bright

Left at eight months but still feel the unbreakable bond

one that procailm my rightful place thats set and stone

Through the tone of the locals and what they say, the smiles of the people

allure me to stay as I

travel through the enviroment across the country

Through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater

Through Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar

this is the place thats irreplaceable

Steady shaken, driven and impressed

Came across the village to meet my people

The Ngoni in the South, strong like eagles

who's a weak one none? and neither

but with the many tribes still living as one

The anonmaly in the continent, statement not intended as pun

A fresh aura as we interact face to face

despite our pitfalls

we still sing in grace
