For My Best Friend

There is one more thing to put in our jar.

I laugh at all of the jokes I unfold.

We've come a long way to get where we are.

I know you will be there as I grow old.

We've danced, we've laughed, we have made a huge fort,

and we even made a game of our lives.

I can not wait for our great beach resort.

Friendship is a game we both will survive.

You're there when I stumble and when I fall.

I am here for your rants and your worry.

We have pictures, letters, all on the wall.

We have our whole lives, no need to hurry.

For my best friend, you mean so much to me.

To our future and what we've come to be.
