Music

Location

So much of my day
I think about music
I write lyrics down everyday
And my notebook can prove it.

I rap to myself
I read the dictionary
I take notes from the greats
But…if I could change one thing,
It’d be the money I make.

Not for the luxury and women
Or a car I can sit in
But so when I wake up everyday
I know it’s a booth that I can live in.

Music’s my love
My heart and my engine
When my emotions are infected
It’s like a doctor’s penicillin.

It’s my emergency raft
My quick way to safety
It’s given me life and now it will take me
To beautiful lights and wonderful mysteries.

Actually, if I could change one thing
I think it’d be history.
