More Oxygen

It's how it is, it's life.

I look up and there's a big cloud;

Caterpillar shaped and fluffy.

I look down and there's a hole in my sock.

I stare across and there's a beautiful smile

And hazel green eyes; captivating.

Smile, smoke, and laugh.

Happiness and sorrow; just laugh

Because it's the feeling of the moment.

I need more oxygen, too much for a COPDer.

Just let me float away, higher and higher

Until I'm too tired to breath on my own.
