Misunderstood

  She was no ordinary girl

Stuck in a messed up whirl

She had friends but she’d rather stay in the clouds

But she always said aloud she didn’t like coming down

She looked the happiest can be but her heart frowned

She begged for freedom and a sense of belonging

But her heart urged for something else

Her look was strict

And her hair was always flipped

But to me it was always skipped

How beautiful she really was

She spent her days in quiet settings

Laid on her bed in her black leggings

But what people didn’t notice was she was really sweet

She just wouldn’t talk to the people

Who didn’t listen
