Miss him

Lonely on the inside

Can't seem to find my way

Thought this time

was suppose to be

Time that I'd find me

Forget about what pushed me gone

I let go, and I was done

Still drowning in our old past

It's sad, but true, I must confess

Can't let go I'm falling fast

Forgetting life and dreaming back

I miss him and his smiling ways

He held me tight

He knew what to say

His grip so tight, I'd push away

How I'd like to time travel back

Into his arms, I'd change my path

Pretending we talk inside my head

Thinking of our lack of part

Makes me sad, things were left undone

No closure came, our hearts still linked

****************************************

I think of you almost everyday

Wait for your call like that sunny day

Calling me up, "be on your way"

"Back to me" We'd never stray

I dreamt of you so many days

Wrote to you each time I laid

I miss your laugh

Your smiling ways

The way you folded your legs in mine
