Mirror

Hello mirror!

I can't see me...

But I see you!

You've seen this room for Years, haven't you?

I can't reach you, if I try I might fall

I'm not small, everyone and most things are just tall!

Time will run through this small body, and future lessons will humble me from

Being snobby.

But, for then, I would learn to walk and from the floor, hoist myself from that

Infant crawl.

I've since found, and long been told- from birth to however years old, that I was

Never normal at all.

And for a time, I was no longer echanted with the mirror as deeply as I once was

Enthralled.

People came, People went

In rooms that mimicked the day, time was spent.

From loud to quiet

Reserved and silent

Goals must be reached, but how?

When my mind is so defiant.

A conversation or two

From two to quiet a few

Some friends and some foes

Some will stay, most will go

To love and to live without fear of my voice, i'm the one who will make my own

Life changing choice.

I've screamed, i've wept, i've spoken, and since changed

All said things happened in much more than a single day.

With a new found courage, and a heart to love

With knowledge that a younger me would know not thereof,

I stand in front of you, to the ceiling I grow nearer

Hello, and how are you?

My dear mirror.
