MILKY WAY DANCER

Location

She stares out to the cosmos in wonder,

And questions what life would be like on Mars.

Would the weather be turbulent thunder?

Or would it be peaceful among the stars?

Or Venus, the goddess of love, beauty.

It is the brightest object in the sky.

The sister planet may be quite soothing,

But she's not sure she's the perfect ally.

Or Mercury, the closest to the sun.

Moving oh so quickly across the sky.

The pace could prove to be extremely fun,

But she sees grace in watching life go by.

Perhaps Earth is still the concrete answer,

She harbors dreams as an astral dancer.
