A Message From A Grown-Up

Grown-ups aren't as old as they seem

I know people who are older yet still younger than me

Regardless of age, grown-ups are mentally dry

Many will claim that they're not that kind of guy

Trying to be normal should be equivalent of sinning

Fitting into society is a game not worth winning

I don't regeret the past, I face my actions with pride

And when the consequences come, I'll be enjoying the ride

An unplanned future is fun and telltale

A pre-planned life is really quite stale

Friends will come and go, it's really sad although,

A few will stick around and they're worth getting to know

This poem is about:
Our world
