Melancholy Song

Melancholia

The girl with the sad eyes likes drinking wine with the moonlight.

The girl with the sad eyes likes to write poems when the stars shine.

Words of fire,

heart of steel,

Wounds that you may never heal.

Do you hear that?

Are you awake?

The girl with the sad eyes is calling your name.

You can find her sitting on her window sill.

You can see her in a library full of adventure.

You can speak to her at a coffee shop.

The girl with the sad eyes does not judge you.

The girl with the sad eyes believes in deja vu.

I can see her at the park sitting lonely on a bench.

I can hear her in every song or speaking french.

I can read her through a book.

The girl with the sad eyes loves to cook.

The girl with the sad eyes has a melancholy in her that shines like fire.

She calls it desire.
