The Mask With The Biggest Smile

Location

Life was suddenly full of glee

The mask was somehow now a part of me

It’s been a while

Since I had a real smile

Can’t let this mask ever fall

So I’ll just keep standing nice and tall

Made to disguise and hide

I guess I’m living a lie

Nobody hears my cries

Cause my mask is good at lies

Nobody sees my fears

Cause my mask is good at hiding tears

One day I’ll throw it away

So that I can start a brand new day

But only when I find someone who’ll befriend me

And won’t mind my insanity

And wipe my tears

And help conquer my fears

So…the man behind the curtain?

You should really give him some attention

Cause he’s searching

And he’s almost tired of waiting
