Magna Mater’s Laissez-Faire

Location

Mankind, since the beginning of time,

acquires a palpable devotion to revision the world around us

To create,

to improve,

to change.

A never-ending cyclic pattern of discontent and desolation.

What if we were to forego the tempestuous fervor for modification of the Great Mother?

To embrace the perfection within our imperfections,

would we remain flawed?

To see the planet as a home rather than a tool,

would we cease to use its inhabitants?

To return the human’s most animalistic state of thoughtless inattention,

would the notion of ignorance continue to exist?

To allow Earth’s Garden of Eden reach bloom,

would there be such worries as pollution or extinction?

It is never been a matter of what needs to be changed,

but rather, what needs to remain unchanged.

One cannot improve what has already acquired excellence.

What do I wish to change, you ask?

Unconditionally

and unquestionably

nothing.
