I feel the flow of blood in my fingers
as I think about you.
This here is for no girl your my world
let me wrap my fingers around you.
You been with me through all my struggles.
You never hurt you only helped me.
Im encouraged by your existence.
Every time I think about you I sit in the dark barren room.
Walls covered in white cloaked in a wrapping of blue.
That’s both figuratively speaking and literal too.
I go through my day with a smile and a sway.
All to come back to this room and sulk in the things that will never be or that may.
I lay on satin sheets and comfort myself with tall tale dreams.
I delude my mind to escape from the binds of reality.
All while knowing that inside I still bleed.
The one thing I loved the most cut me and the thing I used as an outlet only tried to love me.
But all I saw was a soon betrayal in its eye so I used it while I could and dropped poison in its lines.
all to just later realize that poetry was my one true love.
So at night with it in my mind I shall only lye.
Ill forever burry deep secrets in my true love about I.
And yes that was a sexual reference line.
Someone once told me life was like a bowl of cherries.
And I am the finest one.
I am poetries muse.
They tell me love is blind.
Well I can see why ill never have it then cuz I am blind too.
alls well that ends well.
