Love is a trap

Once Upon a time

I fell in love

At the time I was innocent, a small white dove

I looked at the world with big bright eyes

And chose to believe all the alleged darkenss was lies

I met him while shivering in the snow

Why he bothered with me I still do not know

But he gifted me a cloak, to keep out the cold

And promised to be by my side until I was gray and old

During the summer our passion boomed

Who would have thought the relationship to be doomed?

As I loved him, he found solace in another

As I loved him, he found himself another lover

Even as I gave him my all

Even as he watched me fall

He strayed, betrayed, and worst of all

He stayed

Broken

Shatered

A ghost

I fell, fell , fell

into darkness

Once Upon a time I fell in love

But it was all a lie

He was not my vallient knight

But a villian

Yet despite it all he still has me ensnared

I fell in love

And seem to be stuck there
