You play a part
While I fall apart
Under the weather, now...
Under the weather, now...

And I beg you please
for some room just to breathe
under the weather now...
under the weather now...

so I said to the Devil,
"Go ahead, come down to earth
with a shovel and stick into the dirt
and dig my grave
I'm not afraid
though I scream
and shout
pout
wriggle and writhe
about,
I can control life not on hold."

While you behave
just like a child
you're such a child
and I'm just a child too
so why can't I be with you?

Oh, being self righteous might get you a kiss,
but never behave like your head is a cave

you know, my eyes are weak and clouded
Why don't we talk about it?

I
I can deny
the fire
that burns deep inside
but if I deny
nature's biggest lie
I'll char and die
wondering, "Why?"

So I say, "Goodbye"
oh, "Good bye"
"Good bye"
My little apple pie.
(you) Breathe fire into my eyes
I say, "Good bye."
I say, "Good bye
