Look How I've Grown Up
Oh, the stages of life
Have been so fun
Even though many times consist of some strife,
But deep on the inside I shine bright like the sun
When I was young,
And life had barely begun
I used to bite my nails,
Absolutely hated cucumber
And refused to walk outdoor trails
I used to be smelly
Hated doing chores
Loved the telly
And refused to go to the stores,
I was so different back then, and makes me wonder when I changed
Maybe it was the when I moved schools,
And got used to some more rules, Anyway I think that
Its kind of like I played pretend,
And makes me fondly think of when
So it seems like I am a bystander
Just watching myself get rearranged
I like this new me as I look back,
And think about how different I am
It almost as if I have been transported
To a new environmnet, like the outback
But this way I know that I am truly glam
Like the truly brilliant flower, my friend, the Orchid
