My Prince Charming that swept me away, in my state of haze and disarray; You held me close in your warm embrace, it was in your arms I knew I was safe; But it didn't stay that way; I was snatched away, left in the cold to shiver, to die; On my own, lonely inside, and you reside no where close.
My life is empty, my eyes are blind; My fingers are numb, my stomach filled with bile; Without you in my life I'm dead inside; Ive shriveled up and died; I want you back so I can feel, alive.
I cried the hardest I've ever cried before, and a piece of me died that can never be restored; I'm sad to say that this product of damnation is a result of my own self planted condemnation.
It's cold inside, dark, empty; and I'm the only one here; It's cold inside, dark, empty; and i walk up the stairs; It's been this way for as long as I can remember; I think as my feet pad along the slick floor; Ive always been alone in this big empty hole, my only true home; But I've gotten lonely inside where it's cold, dark, and empty, I walk into the small room; I feel lonely inside, and I try not to cry, I sit to warm by the tiny glow; I guess I always felt this lonely inside, I just didn't know.
