If a sequence of codes and letters 
represents my intelligence 
then I am reduced to 
a copy 

A copy of my textbooks 
Dates and facts 
spewing from my mouth 
unable to think 

But that's not the way it should be 

Teach critical reasoning 
and a child's mind will grow to
the edges of the universe which 
they created 

The ability to think 
to come to your own conclusion 
to have innovative ideas 
this is education 

Teach a child 
to be smart 
to make their own decisions 
and they will live
