The Limerick of Limerick

Way back in the old days of Limerick,

The town's mayor was not quite so synergic,

So the people decided,

That they wanted to be provided,

With a foundation made of some newer brick.

They selected the broom maker Sean,

For his brains and not for his brawn,

For false crimes they tried to convict,

This was really a trick,

and Sean became mayor because of this Con.

So how does this relate to the world today?

Well the mayor could be president Trump, I say.

And by democratic debate,

We choose our candidate,

As the new leader of our nation's soiree.

My country
Our world
