Lighthouse Parody

Lit in the lighthouse

Is a light burning brightly.

A path is shown to you

To make your way back to me.

The longer I wait

The dimmer the light becomes.

My soul cries out

To be in your arms once more.

And so, I call out

To the heavens, I say your name.

Although, expecting a miracle is a little mundane.
