Light

What is light more than a torch in the night,

An invisible line between day and night,

The apearance that we know wat's right,

But even fairytale queens have their fight.

The Evil Queen may have been wrong,

In her actions but her motivation was strong,

But for all the things in her life that went wrong,

She was brave enough to carry on.

What then is light but a trick of the brain,

An allusion created to guide us from pain,

Justification for all we refrain,

In fear of illusions of rain.

Snow White kept seven slaves,

Treated well but oft unpaid.

All that keeps their sould unstrayed,

Were the songs they sang throughout the day.

What then is light but a thing we create,

To draw the line and demonstrate,

All the things we cannot recreate?

Nobody here is perfect.
