The pain in life we must endure

may become too much

be we cannot lose sight

of what we once held dear

Wounds of the body can be healed

wounds of the mind can be treated

but wounds of the soul 

and of the heart

can live on through your demise

if you let them overtake you

If you give in to depression 

and you give in to sorrow 

your life will be leeched 

of all color

and happiness

I gave in

and now I am suffering for it

do not let this happen to you

the pain of heartbreak

the pain of loneliness

the pain of love loss

the pain of life we must endure

For suicide is the cowards way out.
