Life is a Staircase

Life is a staircase that goes
Up to the clouds in ragged flows

The longer life lasts is the longer the case
We never knew because we weren’t given a trace

We climb up the stairs as we get older
The higher we climb we seem bolder

And when we reach the end we get taken
Up or down the truth is shaken

The harder the life the steeper the stairs
The steeper the staircase it seems line no one cares

But if you give a helping hand to someone in need
Help them up the stairs and help them succeed

When you climb up a stair there is no descending
It may seem like these stairs are never ending

But when you see the sun set high
You know its a new day, tomorrow is tied
