The life I live

The life I live isn't easy

Hmph I want to see you walk a day in my shoes

You think the life I live is all breezy and easy

Hell no!

You don't even know the half of it

Try living where I live or growing where I grow

People see me as just another "black kid" trying to make it out the ghetto

Yeah that may be me, but I will be damned if I'm another statistic

I'm not gonna be just another black female on welfare
