Lethal Bioluminescence

A vast expanse of sky

And stars glaring in opposition

You can't

You just...can't

These words are my own

On pages that don't need a second glance

Three years

Still doing the same old dance

My perpetual quicksand

I stumbled across a lighthouse

Or perhaps, it stumbled upon me

The light is pervading

Shaming bioluminescence

The stranger pulls the trigger

There is no greater lethality

Volcanoes don't follow schedules

Half of me is burned away in the aftermath
