A 5 year sentence of bad luck

I didnt know my life could run such a muck

from my cancer to the loss of my father

i started to wonder... Should I even bother.

I tried to stay positive for I knew better

I tried to not let the problems make me a sweater

I am going to college

I am excited for knowledge

I'm a strong student who will go far

watch out world! I'm reaching for the stars!
