Let It Be
While sitting in the workshop, I stare.
I am not Me; I feel so bare.
I am stripped of my courage;
Stripped of my life.
What role do I have to play later on?
Obviously a Laborious wife!
I watched the doves, the ducks, the sky,
As I wave to my spirit a disastrous goodbye.
Oh WHY? Do I feel like I died?
But all I want is to fly… away.
I looked at her as she said,
“Oh, Darling, it’s okay”
Filled with disbelief, I cry.
Because right now, I was going to finally fly
She finally understood for once in her life
That I am not perfect and neither is she
And if that’s how life is….
PLEASE Let It Be!
