The Leap
A leap of faith
The choice is never easy
And the leap never the same
Always clouded with doubt
The end is never certain
A leap of faith
A curiosity for sure
Falling into an unknown
Hoping to find the Foreign and exotic
Yet never knowing if we’d land
A leap of faith
Quite the tragedy
Venturing into the vast and uncharted
Fairly comparable to love
Yet all the while less ironic
Love is a leap
A mysterious and familiar feeling
That rises from our hearts
Rising into love
And yet we fall in love
A leap of faith
What is it really
A mystery for certain
This poem is about:
Me
Our world
