The leaf begins to fall

Sun, 11/20/2016 - 03:42 -- E.B.

The leaf begins to fall

and the blade becomes red.

My heart dies for her.

I see what could have been,

even when She could not.

Little does She know, we

have similar wounds.

But now, Her blade is red.

And the leaf hits the ground,

accompanied by soft rain.

I sent the rain for Her; although,

She will never know that.
