Lantern

Happiness. Sadness.

Friendship. Animosity.

The winding roads are hard to maneuver.

The darkest of paths can be lit with a lantern.

One day, I hope to be such a lantern.

Some people say it can’t be done.

Some people ask why not do more.

Despite it all, I simply want to help others move along.

Psychology and intrigue go hand and hand.

Giving advice and sympathy are my specialties.

Compassion can do what no amount of money can.

A profession that heals the deepest of wounds.

How could anything be more rewarding?

I ask myself and come up with no findings.
