What’s up with these kids in schools

Why do they think it’s ok

To run around toting guns

And slaying in the hallways

What makes them think they’ve got the right

To take someone’s life

What’s up with these kids in America today

I know you’ve got hate

And feel upset

Thinking no one understands

Kids it’s not acceptable

I’m not saying we have to love one other

But no more mass murders

No more targets

Stop spreading more pain

There’s other ways of expressing yourself

Without taking aim
