Just once I want to go a single day with them knocking on my faith
Just Once
Just once I want to serve my God without restrictions
From those who's addictions
Blind and Block every addition
I make to history's renditions
of the TRUTH
Just Once I want to not have to be normal
To wear jeans to a winter formal
Have justification for being hormonal
Because, you know, I am a girl
Just Once
I want the world to stop looking at me like I'm a failure
Because I don't meet their standards, their measures
Because I wear short shorts in cold weather
Or wear multi colored clip in hair feathers...
Just once
I want to be loved because Jesus loves me
Not only Just Once, but for Eternity
To not be shunned because in Him I found my identity
Just Once
On this earth..
I want to be me
Just Once

Keep going! Don't be ashamed. What people tell you, is just trials that are put for you. The Devil just wants you to lose your faith, but it's okay. Remain strong. (: God Bless you.
